Greg Postel is an American meteorologist who currently works as a tropical weather specialist for the Washington Post’s Capital Weather Gang and as an on-camera meteorologist. In addition, expert Postel is also a co-host of Weekend Recharge.
He was mentored by David Ludlum, who was the founder of Weatherwise magazine and served in the Allied Forces during World War II. Ludlum shared interesting stories about the major weather events of the past and inspired Greg to become a meteorologist in the future. He instructed Postel to earn an undergraduate degree in mathematics and physics, and then graduate from school, which he did.
