Biography of Jim Sciutto
Jim Sciutto is a renowned American author, chief national security correspondent, and co-anchor of CNN Newsroom, which airs Monday through Friday, 9 am to 11 am, alongside Poppy Harlow. In his role, Jim reports and provides analysis on all aspects of US national security, including; foreign policy, the military, terrorism and the intelligence community, a position he has held since September 2013.
Between 2011 and 2013, Scuitto served as Chief of Staff to US Ambassador Gary Locke at the US Embassy in Beijing. He was previously a senior foreign correspondent for ABC News in London.
As an author, Jim has written a book called “Against Us: The New Face of America’s Enemies in the Muslim World”, among other books.
