Kierra Cotton is a three-time Emmy Award-winning American journalist and currently works as a digital reporter at WKYC-TV in Cleveland, Ohio since July 2016, as an audience engagement specialist, digital content producer, and reporter. Previously, she worked as a part-time game presenter for the Cleveland Cavaliers for 10 months starting in October 2021.
Furthermore, Cotton went to Villa Angela – St. Joseph High School. She was a member of the Student Council, Ambassadors, Peer Ministries, Cheerleaders and Track. Cotton attended Ohio University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism in 2016. She has also been a member of the ASL Club, Unified Sisters, Black Student Union, and Black Student Cultural Programming Board.
