Ella Dorsey is a renowned American meteorologist who currently works as a morning meteorologist at CBS46 Wake Up Atlanta. Prior to joining CBS46, Ella served as a meteorologist and encountered the city’s ever-changing weather fronts, such as tornadoes and ice storms.
Born as the only child of his parents; a mom digital editor for CNN and an inspirational speaker to a dad, Ella grew up as an inspired girl and found interest in the media world. Her dad gave her a Discovery Channel VCR title Tornado, Hurricane, Flood when she was 4 and she became completely obsessed.
She then pursued a career in meteorology and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and a Certificate in Atmospheric Science in 2009 from the University of Georgia. She also graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2013.
