Liane Morejon is an Emmy Award-winning American journalist and currently works at WPLG Local 10 News, Miami, Florida as a reporter. She joined the network in January 2010. Morejon, still in college, interned at Local 10 News.
Currently, Liane can be seen reporting weekdays at noon, 4 pm, 5 pm and 6 pm, as well as Sundays at 5 pm, 6 pm and 11 pm Morejon has covered some of South Florida’s biggest stories on a wide range of topics, whether traveling across the country to cover stories in national headlines, reaching a group of migrants, covering crime and public corruption.
Morejon interned at Local 10 and was later promoted to producer. She also started out as an associate producer for Local 10 News Mornings and was later promoted to lead producer for the 5 am hour. In her spare time, Liane enjoys spending time with her fiance and daughter and supporting the Miami Hurricanes. She attended and graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in communications and a dual major in broadcast journalism and theatrical arts.
