Linda Hurtado Biography
Linda Hurtado is a renowned American journalist who currently serves as an anchor for Fox 13 News in Tampa Bay. Hurtado anchors Fox 13 News at noon, as well as Fox 13 News at 4 pm with Chris Cato and Fox 13 News at 5 pm with Cynthia Smoot.
Prior to joining Fox 13 News in 2015, Linda worked at ABC Action News in Tampa, Florida as an anchor and reporter. She spent 19 years at the station.

Linda has hosted the local MDA Telethon for over 10 years, the local Dancing with the Stars event benefiting local charities, and the Florida Hospital Pepin Heart Hospital Valentine’s Day event, as well as events for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
She has been very active with the American Cancer Society’s Reach to Recovery and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events long before my own breast cancer diagnosis in 2011. This was because her mother was a breast cancer survivor until the disease finally took his life in 1995. .
