Tomlinson was raised in Temecula, California and attended Temecula Valley High School. His comedy performances are greatly influenced by his upbringing in a devout Christian family. After her father enrolled them both in a stand-up class, she started doing church comedy at age 16.
Tomlinson began his career playing church basements, schools and cafes, eventually becoming one of the youngest acts on the tour, with appearances on The Tonight Show, Conan and Comedy Central.
In 2015, Taylor was one of ten finalists for the ninth season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing and was also named one of Variety’s “Top 10 Comics to Watch” at the 2019 Just for Laughs Festival.
