Christian Siriano is an American fashion designer and member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). He is also a producer and actor, known for Ugly Betty (2006), Difficult People (2015) and Project Runway (2004).
He came into the spotlight after winning the 4th season of the American design contest Project Runway. This made him the youngest ever winner of the fashion design show. In 2008, Christian launched the “Christian Siriano” collection, celebrating its 10th anniversary with a Fall 2018 show. Celebrities such as Ashley Graham, Selma Blair and Danielle Brooks, Cardi B, Meg Ryan, Laverne Cox and Whoopi Goldberg were present. This collection is estimated to have made returns of up to $5 million by 2012.

Before auditioning for Project Runway, Christian worked as an online makeup artist while making wedding dresses for private clients. At that time, he was also an intern at Marc Jacobs. He decided to audition for the show at the suggestion of a friend’s mother.
During his tenure at Project Runway, Siriano won three challenges, the biggest win for any contestant that season. It was also reported that his line generated over $1.2 million in revenue in 2010 and $5 million in 2012 simultaneously. In September 2012, the first Christian Siriano branded store opened on Elizabeth Street in the Nolita neighborhood of Manhattan.
