Valencia manager Gennaro Gattuso has insisted that a game plan has been drawn up to sign Tottenham winger Bryan Gil acquired, but Spurs will not transfer him until they score a replacement.
The Spaniard spent the latter part of the season acquired with the Mestalla squad, resulting in a struggle to break into Antonio Conte’s top-tier plans, appearing in every competition and contributing an assist.
Likewise, Gattuso found his side is set to get the 21-year-old’s organizations on a season-long credit – without a purchase decision – any time the Spurs get a replacement.
“We’ve agreed a trade for Bryan, Tottenham told us it’s almost 100% done,” said the Italian. “We’ve been waiting for him for a few days.
“Tottenham told us they need to sign a replacement so he can travel. We are confident that Tottenham will sign another player.”
The 90 minutes revealed that Tottenham are excited to complete a plan for Roma striker Nicolo Zaniolo, with Chelsea having truly joined the race for their brand.
Furthermore, the Serie An squad is seen to have recovered a credit offer from the Spurs for the 23-year-old this pre-summer, who is highly regarded by Conte and director of football Fabio Paratici.
Roma are available to sell Zaniolo if their €50m order cost is met, while they are equally inclined to support a credit outflow if the plan integrates a mandatory purchase stipulation.
The Spikes were dynamic in the commercial market this pre-summer, welcoming the signings of Ivan Perisic, Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, Destiny Udogie, Djed Spence, Clement Lenglet and Fraser Forster. Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso and Steven Bergwijn followed the alternative path.
