David Asman biography
David Asman is an American journalist who currently works as a news anchor for Fox Business Network and Fox News Channel. Furthermore, he joined Fox News in 1997. This eloquent journalist presents Bulls and Bears on Fox Business Network and various other Fox News specials. Previously, he hosted Forbes on Fox and Fox News Live during the week. That was before he joined Fox News Channel’s documentary unit.
Asman attended and graduated from Marlboro College. He later attended Northwestern University where she majored in Journalism.
After graduating, he began his career on the editorial page of The Wall Street Journal, where he covered Latin America for 12 years before becoming editor of editorial resources. While in Latin America during the volatile period of the 1980s, he wrote over 100 articles and won several awards from the Inter-American Press Association. This was for his writings on Cuba and Mexico.
During this period, he also edited a column on business management for The Wall Street Journal called “Manager’s Journal”. He was named editor of editorial resources at a time when the Journal’s editorial page was publicizing stories about Whitewater. However, he left The Wall Street Journal to join Fox News in 1997. That was a year after the news channel started.
