Adam Joseph is an American journalist who currently works as a weatherman on weekdays at Action News at 4:00 pm, 5:30 pm, and 10:00 pm. He graduated from Lyndon State College with a Bachelor of Science in 2000.
Joseph’s first on-air experience came in 1998, when he predicted and anchored the weather on LSC-TV. Looking back, Joseph laughs at his green performance but enjoys the experience. He began his professional career at WBOY-TV as a chief meteorologist in Clarksburg.
Shortly after, he landed a job at WSAZ-TV, where he ended up receiving the prestigious AMS Seal of Approval for Television. He also received several awards for excellence in meteorology.
Four years later, Joseph joined WPVI as a weekend weatherman in April 2005. He loves the balance of fulfilling a lifelong passion for the weather while immersing himself in the world of entertainment. He fills in ABC’s Good Morning America when needed and was named Best Weather in Philadelphia by Philadelphian Magazine in 2009.
Joseph is strongly committed to making a difference in the community and is heavily involved with Hospice and the American Cancer Society. When he’s off duty, he enjoys lifting weights, running, biking, swimming, spending time with his family, and just making each day count.
