Gerri Willis is an American journalist who currently works as an anchor and reporter on Fox Business Network. She is the former anchor of The Willis Report, a daytime show on Fox Business Network.
Willis attended and graduated Colombia Business School and University of Miami in Oxford, Ohio, in the United States. While there, she was a Knight-Bagehot Fellow and was the business manager of The Miami Student, the oldest university newspaper in the United States.
Prior to joining FBN, she served as CNN’s personal finance editor, hosting a weekly half-hour show titled “Your Bottom Line,” which focused on ways to save Americans money and the effects of the economy on personal finances. She also worked at Smart Money magazine as a senior financial correspondent before joining CNN.
Most notably, Gerri joined Fox Business Network in March 2010, appearing on all of the network’s programming. In addition to her journalism career, she is also the author of two business books “The Smart Money Guide to Real Estate Investing” and “Home Rich”.
Willis is the recipient of the 2001 Retirement Savings Reporting Excellence Award, given by the American University School of Communication and the Investment Company’s Education Foundation.
