Nicole Linsalata is an American journalist who currently works at 7News WSVN as a general reporter since August 2005. Prior to joining her current station, she worked at KIRO-TV, a CBS affiliate in Seattle.
This award-winning journalist participated in the University of Mary Washington from 1984 to 1985. Later, in 1986, he attended Florida State University. She also participated in Cambridge University the following year and studied Political Science and Government. Linosalata holds a BA in Political Science and Government from Florida International University.
After graduation, she began her broadcasting career at WKMG-TV in Orlando, where she received two Central Florida Press Club Awards. Prior to joining her current station, she was a reporter and weekend anchor at WZVN-TV, an ABC affiliate in Fort Myers, Florida, United States.
She also worked at WAGA-TV in Atlanta. While here she covered stories about hurricanes, the death of John F. Kennedy Jr., and the deadly tornadoes in South Georgia. Furthermore, she received an Emmy nomination for field reporting while on the station.
She also received an Emmy and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for her reportage Hope for Haiti in 2012. The series chronicles the hurricane-ravaged island two years after a catastrophic earthquake struck west of Port-au-Prince.
