Alexis McAdams is an American journalist who has served as the General Assignment Reporter for ABC WLS-Channel 7 since November 2018. Prior to joining ABC WLS-Channel 7, she worked as a reporter for FOX59 and CBS4 News. McAdams joined the two broadcasters in April 2015 and has worked with both broadcasters to date.
Prior to working at FOX59 and CBS4 News, Alexis worked at WTVO-TV and WQRF-TV in Rockford Illinois, as a lead reporter and weekend anchor. She was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. She attended Illinois State University graduating in Broadcast Journalism in 2013.
