Amy Sweezey Biography
Amy Sweezey is an award-winning broadcast meteorologist and children’s book author. For 25 years, she broadcast daily forecasts on television and spoke to countless groups of children about the weather. she was part of the WESH-2 News team from 2002 to 2020.
Amy attended and graduated from Loyola University of Chicago before continuing his meteorological studies in Mississippi State University. She holds the coveted Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) certification awarded by the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and the National Weather Association (NWA) Seal of Approval.
