Jocelyn Maminta is an Emmy-nominated broadcast journalist from the United States. She is best recognized for her work as a medical reporter for WTNH/News 8 and as a co-anchor of Good Morning CT at 9.00 am. She is also the founder of Caroline’s Room, a safe sanctuary for families dealing with the hardship and uncertainty that comes with having a premature baby.
Caroline’s Rooms can be found in Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, Virginia and Texas, among other places in the United States. Caroline’s room was first established at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital and the second at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
Maminta also serves on the Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital Board of Friends and the Greater New Haven Arts Board. Furthermore, she is also a member of the Junior League of Greater New Haven.
In her broadcasting career, Jocelyn has anchored and reported for various television stations in North Carolina, Milwaukee, Buffalo, Texas and News 8 in Connecticut. Jocelyn works tirelessly for numerous nonprofit organizations in Connecticut. For that, she was honored several times.
