Sanika Bhargaw is an American journalist who currently works at WMTV, NBC 15, Madison, Wisconsin as a reporter and multimedia journalist. Bhargaw joined the staff of NBC 15 in September 2018. Since then, she has enjoyed meeting people and covering stories in southern Wisconsin, particularly in 2020. She has covered the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2020 presidential election, as well as protests and unrest following the death of George Floyd. Sanika’s work covering these protests has earned her, along with her teammates, two Emmy nominations and an Emmy Award for the morning news following the first night of unrest.
