John Drew Sheard is an American pastor and bishop. His church is known as the Greater Emmanuel Institutional Church of God. Drew was elected to the general council of COGIC in November 2012. Like his father, Drew is a solo minister. After his father passed away, Drew pursued his profession as a minister. He is currently the senior leader of the church in Detroit.
Drew was the President of the International Youth Department. This was for all the churches of God in Christ. During his time, many groups like the “Persuaders” were formed.
He is also the founder of CD Owens Scholarship. This was to help talented and aspiring students with their many expenses. Drew helped drive attendance and fiscal responsibility at that convention.
