Mark Albert is an American journalist who works as the Chief National Investigative Correspondent for Hearst Television in Washington, D.C. For over 20 years, he has worked as a correspondent and managing editor for a news startup he launched. He is a Peabody Award-winning journalist who has been featured on all CBS News broadcasts, including the CBS Evening News, as well as CBS News Radio, where he worked as a freelance correspondent for the network for three years.
As a result of his investigation into the death of a sailor in Iraq, Albert won broadcast journalism’s highest honor, the George F. Peabody Award. Additionally, Mark is the holder of National Headliner Awards, including the Grand Prize of National Press Foundation and the National Press Club.
