Biography of Eva Pilgrim
Eva Pilgrim is a South Korean-American journalist who currently works as a correspondent for ABC News and weekend co-anchor for Good Morning America Weekend Edition. She joined ABC News in December 2015. As a host and anchor, she has hosted several ABC programs such as News Specials, This Week, GMA3: What You Need to Know, and others.
Apart from all this, she has also reported on several sports events and seminars. Furthermore, she has worked on several news channels and came into the limelight after revealing her pregnancy news on Good Morning America in July 2021.
After her education, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of South Carolina School of Journalism and Mass Communication in 2004. Eva was a staff member at Carolina News. Most notably, she joined Good Morning America in October 2018 as a weekend co-anchor, replacing Paul Faris.
Before joining her current station, she worked as an anchor and reporter for 6ABC from 2012 until 2015, when she joined ABC. While at 6ABC, she covered the Amtrak derailment of Pope Francis’ visit to Philadelphia and also did some investigative work.
Eva began her career in 2002 as a web producer at WIS-TV. However, she left the station in 2004 for the position of morning anchor and reporter at WVVA in Bluefield from 2004 to 2006. After leaving WVVA in 2006, she joined Fox Charlotte as a news reporter and anchor. She also worked at WXIN-TV as an anchor.
