Prior to her lead role in The Glades, she starred as Anne Sorelli The WB comedy-drama Related, and as Nikki Fernandez in the main cast in the Thors season of the ABC television drama series Lost. Furthermore, she starred in DirectTV Kingdom drama series on Audience Network.
Born in Chicago, she began her acting career at Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream, Illinois. At this school, she performed in a school production of The Grape of Wrath. That was one of the things that helped her overcome stage fright, which was one of the challenges she was facing at the time.
