Abigail Ogle is an American journalist who works as the morning news anchor at KOCO 5 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Prior to joining KOCO TV, she served as a sports anchor/reporter at ABC.
Abigail Ogle is co-anchor alongside Jessica Schambach, Chief Meteorologist Damon Lane and Director of Sports Bryan Keating on KOCO News at 6pm on weekdays. In addition to docking at 6pm, Ogle contributes to the 5pm and 10pm newscasts, reporting the latest news and biggest stories of the day.

Ogle and by Jeff Ewing Sports-inspired Oklahoma wedding at Coles Garden. If not for their shared passion for sports, Ogle and Jeff would not have met. Abigail was a sports anchor/reporter in July 2013 and Jeff was organizing a major golf tournament at Edmond’s Oak Tree National. In Edmond, where Jeff was one of the speakers, Abby was invited to moderate a panel function. The rest is history!
Three years and hundreds of sporting activities later, the marriage was arranged by Abby and Jeff. The bride has learned that a groom’s opinions are always set aside. At the wedding, Abby wanted Jeff to feel ‘at home’ too. She asked him to describe her dream wedding in one word. His reaction? Funny.
Knowing that she needed to incorporate fun and playfulness into an intimate wedding, Abby agreed to form a band. It was conceived as a football team by the sport-loving bride. If talented superstars surround a quarterback, the QB has a better chance of winning the game. Abby (and her mother, the head coach!) collaborated with creative and hardworking teammates to create a beautiful wedding for the couple.

Abby dreamed of an exquisite wedding full of flowers; a backyard soiree preceded by a sports-themed reception. The bride’s squad (called “The Dream Team”) found many ways to introduce sport into the ceremony without diminishing the degree of sophistication. Knowing that many female features will be there, Abby and her Dream Team created The Dugout. The special location allowed guests to select stadium food (gourmet hot dogs, sliders, pretzels, macaroni and cheese and other stadium favorites) while browsing through photos of Abby and Jeff at various stadiums. There was mainly the cake from Jeff’s St. Louis Cardinals in a show!
The Ogle Family Band, starring several members of the Abby family, was the focus of the reception. Uncle Kent’s Abby sang while her father swayed on the drums. Surprisingly, they were joined by Jeff! Little did the bride know that for weeks her groom had been rehearsing!
The photo booth was another nice aspect of the evening. The duo wanted theirs to be distinctive, so they had “big heads” made for tourists to use in their photos. Guests applauded the couple at the end of the night as they left the ceremony with poms reflecting the colors of their respective teams.
Abby and Jeff believe their marriage ambitions have been realized. This sports-loving couple treats their union like a home run!
