Adam Oliver biography
Adam Olivier is a veteran American meteorologist who currently works for Fox 15 News as a meteorologist. Olivier has always loved the weather since he was young, growing up in New Orleans.
During many tropical storms and hurricanes, Adam pretended to be a Weather Channel weatherman and “reported” the storm from his backyard. He began his career in broadcast meteorology as an intern at a local television station in his hometown of New Orleans while still in high school.
Adam also had other stages and experienced severe types of weather and hurricanes. Olivier’s interest in the weather came mainly from hurricanes Georges, Ivan and Katrina, leading to his love of the weather.
Adam attended the University of South Alabama for Meteorology and earned his bachelor’s degree in meteorology. At the University, Olivier earned his bachelor’s degree in meteorology with university honors in 2016.

Prior to joining Fox 10 News, Olivier interned at WVUE-TV Fox 8 New Orleans and WPMI Local 15 News Mobile, AL. In addition, Adam was a US Atmoscenter student meteorologist, a registration coordinator for the Southeast Atmospheric and Coastal Processes Symposium (SeCAPS). He also starred in the campus news station called Jag TV, volunteer student research assistant, and lastly worked at Audubon Aquarium of the Americas.
Adam joined the Fox 10 News weather team in Mobile, Alabama in June 2016. He spent three years on the Gulf Coast covering various hurricanes, including Hurricane Michael in 2018, tornadoes, and winter storms. Additionally, Olivier was a storm chaser for the season and reported on the aftermath of major weather events, including the 2016 flood here in Louisiana.
When he’s not working, you can find Adam cheering for South Alabama, LSU and the Saints. He is also an avid football fan, especially when the World Cup takes place every four years.
