Previously, he worked as a broadcast meteorologist and weather reporter and anchor for other Massachusetts-based local stations. Adam even spent time working as a head cashier and customer services in Caldor while in high school and college.
Strzempko was born and raised in Westfield, Massachusetts. He grew up a very smart kid who enjoyed watching the 22News weather forecasts provided by Joh Quill when Adam was very young. Adam attended and graduated from Westfield High School. He then graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communications from Vermont-based Lyndon State College.
Adam started his career as an intern working in the weather departments at WWLP 22 News in Massachusetts. After his college graduation, Adam was hired as a full-time news anchor by 22 News in 1996.
