Alex Cheney is an American reporter and anchor who currently works for ABC 7 Eyewitness News as a general reporter and meteorologist. Cheney started working for the networks in August of this year. Despite this, he spent two years as a reporter for KESQ in Palm Springs, California. He worked as a weekend night weatherman, reporter and sports anchor at the station.
Cheney completed his high school education from Irvine High School in Irvine, California. He went to the Manship School at Louisiana State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communication. Additionally, he had a spec in Broadcast Journalism as well as a minor in Business. During his time in college, Cheney served the university’s Tiger TV news station for a period of three years.
