Stone has been broadcasting the station’s 5pm news since joining KETV in July 2014. Prior to joining the station, Alexandra worked in Amarillo, Texas, where she covered city politics, historic drought, as well as wide-area wildfires. .
Alexandra was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. While in college, Alexandra worked at KOMU in Columbia, Missouri as a one-man-band reporter and fill-in anchor. In 2011, Stone joined Associated Press Television News in Brussels, Belgium for a 5-month internship from January 2011 to May 2011.
