Alicia Roberts is an American journalist currently serving as a news anchor and reporter for CBS KYW-TV Philadelphia since December 2020. She joined CBS as a news anchor for WGCL CBS 46 News from 2017 to 2020. Alicia further gained more experience and attention with the public for working as a correspondent for the Comcast Sports Network based in Chicago, Illinois from 2013 to 2016. In 2008, Roberts worked as a reporter for the Tampa Bay Rays.
Roberts was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. She grew up as a very curious child who developed a passion for journalism at a very young age. She also appeared as the main sideline reporter for the Atlanta Skyhawks while working as an anchor for CBS Atlanta. During her tenure at CBS 46, Alicia spent four years covering political updates, sporting events and other general news. She left CBS 46 News in 2000 and joined CBS Philadelphia as a full-time reporter.
