Andrew Keesee is an American journalist who currently serves as a multimedia sports reporter for the FOX 13 Sports team. He joined the FOX 13 team in January 2020. Keesee began his journalistic career as a morning show producer for KWES in Midland, Texas, before acknowledging that his true calling was sports storytelling. He eventually moved into the sports department and in front of the camera as KWES’ weekend sports anchor and reporter.
Andrew is a Texas native and lived in Florida for nearly three years before moving to Tampa. He served as a sports anchor and reporter for WINK News in Fort Myers. While there, Keesee traveled across the state, covering everything from football at all levels, minor league hockey, MLB Spring Training, the Daytona 500, as well as NCAA basketball.
Additionally, before moving to Florida, Andrew left his position as a weekend sports anchor in Midland, Texas to become the sports director for WEVV in Evansville, Indiana. Likewise, while in Evansville, he helped re-establish a news broadcast that had been off the WEVV airway for 14 years.
