Andrew Ross Sorkin is an American journalist and author who serves as co-anchor of CNBC’s Squawk Box and financial columnist for The New York Times. Furthermore, he is also the founder and editor of Deal Book. He is also the co-creator of the Showtime Billions series.
In addition, he appeared on NBC’s Today show, Carlos Rosa, and The News Hour with Jim Lehrer on PBS. He has always been a frequent guest presenter on CNBC and has hosted a seven-and-a-half-hour weekly series called It’s the Economy. The show focuses on how the evolving economic crisis was affecting New Yorkers.
Ross attended Scarsdale High School from which he graduated in 1995. He later enrolled at Cornell University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree. At school, he was a member of the Sigma Pi fraternity.
