Andrew Stockey is an American journalist who currently works as an anchor and reporter at WATE. He co-anchores Pittsburgh’s Action News weekdays at 4 pm and 5 pm and also hosts sports at 6 pm and 11 pm. He also graduated Summa Cum Laude from this university in the class of 1989.
After graduating, he went to Fox News and later joined ESPN. He works as a co-spokesperson for Race for The Cure along with Michelle Wright. Most notably, he started working in sports at WOUB and then ended up making news.
He currently co-hosts the Pittsburgh Action News weekdays at 5 pm, as well as sports at 6 pm and 11 pm. He also serves as the Sports Director for Action Sports of Pittsburgh. Stockey hosts Operation Football, as well as co-hosting Balck and Gold Primetime. He has been with the WTAE since 1995.
