Andy Riesmeyer is an American Senior Producer, Showrunner and Host of KTLA 5 Live streaming on KTLA.com and the KTLA 5 News app weekdays at 2pm and 4pm. Riesmeyer joined the station in November 2018.
Riesmeyer spent a year directing Mattel content for Hot Wheels and went @fullscreen. Furthermore, he was showrunner of Fullscreen’s daily comedy show, Fullscreen, which gathered over 140 million views. Andy also did a clip for Direct TV which was – listen – not very good, but we were having fun! For Mattel, Fullscreen, AT&T, Machinima and The Young Turks, he has presented and hosted projects.
Andy got his first real break on Larry King’s digital network OraTV, hosting a geeky show, DweebCast. It does this a lot in various formats, in different sizes, and with output scopes.
Prior to joining KTLA, Riesmeyer hosted a talk show on Playstation Vue called “All Systems Go!” in the Late Night. Together with the James Beard Foundation, they produced a food and travel show and directed several episodes of a wine talk show hosted by William Shatner. Andy is responsible for 10 hours of live news and talk show material per week on KTLA 5 Live. On the station, he covers breaking news, in-depth stories from Los Angeles and any dogs that are currently in the news.
