Anthony Antoine is a three-time Emmy-winning journalist and currently works as a morning news anchor for NBC 12 News. Prior to joining NBC News, Antony worked for the WCIA as an anchor for a morning paper.
Antoine was born in Trinidad and Tobago, but later migrated to the United States at the age of ten along with his family. Since then, New Jersey has been his home. He then attended Colégio Santo Antônio.
He attended Bowling Green State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communication with a major in ethnic studies in 2009. While in college, he interned at CBS in Los Angeles, California, working on shows like Entertainment Tonight, Wheel of Fortune, and Danger.
From September 2013 to January 2015, Antoine worked as a general reporter for CBS (WCIA) and then worked as a weekend anchor. In September 2015, he took on a new role as the broadcaster’s morning news anchor. In June 2018, he left the station to join WWBT NBC12 News. Before starting his career in journalism, Antony worked as a sales representative for Cintas between 2010 and 2012.
Currently, Anthony has been the morning news anchor for NBC12 News since 2018.
