Ashley Brewer biography
Ashley Brewer is an American sports anchor and reporter who currently works for ESPN. She was hired to be one of the hosts for The Replay on Quibi and part of the Sportscenter rotation. In 2021, she became co-host of SportsNation (TV show) on ESPN+.
brewer participated Chaparral College (Arizona) in Phoenix, Arizona, where she was a 12-time prep All-American swimmer and 2009 Arizona 4A State Champion in the 100m backstroke. She also helped Chaparral win state titles and was named her school’s 2010 Female Athlete of the Year. She later spent her first two years swimming to the University of Texas before transferring to University of Southern California where she graduated in 2014. During her time in Texas, Ashley competed at the 2012 US Olympics in the 100m backstroke, where she finished tied for 83rd.
After graduating from USC, she became a college football reporter for Cox 7 Arizona. Brewer then became the weekend sports anchor on KGUN-TV in Tucson, Arizona. She was also a weekend sports anchor and reporter for KABC-TV in Los Angeles, where she started out as a college intern.
Ashley was later signed to ESPN in 2020 and made her SportsCenter debut on September 28, 2020. She has worked on pre- and post-game shows and co-hosted ESPN radio shows. Prior to joining ESPN, she was part of the broadcast team for The Bachelor Winter Games at the American Broadcasting Company. On August 17, 2021, ESPN transferred her back to Los Angeles, where she now co-hosts the 1:00 am ET (22:00 pm PT) edition of SportsCenter.
