Becky Ditchfield is an American journalist who has currently worked as a meteorologist at 9NEWS since joining the network in June 2007. Prior to joining the network, she worked as a meteorologist at KTHV-TV.
She graduated from Valparaiso University in Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in meteorology. In addition, she has held minors in mathematics and at the National Weather Association and is a member of the American Meteorological Society and broadcasting.
Following her career, she worked as a meteorologist for a television station in Hastings, Nebraska. When she’s off duty, she likes to travel, but her favorite place is the Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. She has been interested in the weather since she was a little girl. Ever since she decided to major in meteorology in college, calculus and physics were Becky’s best subjects in high school.
She also loves anything that has to do with sports. Ditchfield now calls Denver home and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
