Bhavish Aggarwal is an Indian entrepreneur and co-founder of Ola Cabs and Ola Electric. He is one of the youngest and most influential Indian businessmen. Aggarwal was featured in Forbes India’s 30 Under 30 list in 2014, as well as pioneering the 2018 World’s 100 Most Influential People by TIME Magazine.
He was born and raised in the city of Ludhiana, Punjab in a Punjabi family. He completed his primary and secondary education from a local school in his hometown. Later, Aggarwal continued his studies at the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering. Soon thereafter, he started his career as a research intern for Microsoft Research India.
In 2011, Bhavish co-founded Ola Cabs with Ankit Bhati in Bengaluru. The company has become the largest network of personal transport options in India.
