Bobby Swofford is an American journalist who worked as a sports director at KFSM-TV in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He is currently Assistant Executive Director at the Arkansas High School Activities Association since April 2022. Prior to joining the Arkansas High School Activities Association, he was a Media Specialist and Business Development Personality at Mascot Media.
Swofford joined KFSM-TV on September 12 as a sports anchor and reporter. After a few years at the station, he was promoted to Director of Sports in July 2015. As director of sports, he was responsible for coordinating with the sports team on the daily schedule while covering the Arkansas Razorback. he also produced and starred in the 6pm and 10pm sports segments. However, in August 2020, he left the broadcaster.
Before joining 5NEWS, he worked as a presenter at Fort Smith Radio Group. He worked here from August 2013 to July 2015. Following his formal credentials, he holds a BA in Mass and Media Studies from the University of Central Arkansas.
