Brandon Michael Bielak is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball (MLB). In 2020, Michael made his MLB debut and was among the Astros’ picks in the 11th round of the 2017 MLB draft. Furthermore, he was born and raised in Sayreville, New Jersey. Recently, Michael won the first season of his career with nine strikeouts against the Oakland Athletics.
Talking about his education, Bielak completed his high school from St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, New Jersey. Among his 25 games, Michael went 7–8 with a 2.23 ERA before being promoted to the Round Rock Express. There he played 23 games and went 11–4 with a 4.22 ERA, striking out 119 in 121+ 2⁄ innings. In 2020, Brandom made his MLB debut against the Seattle Mariners and emerged as the match winner with an 8–5 run.
Also, later that year, Bielak finished with a 6.75 ERA in 32 innings. Over the next few years, he appeared in 28 games before making his five appearances for Houston in 2022. This year, he was invited to join Triple-A Sugar Land, but was recalled to the Astros. There, he appeared on the major league roster in April 2023. A month later, Bielak won his first season with a career-high nine strikeouts against the Oakland Athletics.
