Brandon Simmons is an American journalist who currently works as a journalist and multi-skilled reporter at WKYC Studios in Cleveland. Simmons is a technology and general reporting specialist, having joined 3News in 2011. A self-proclaimed newsroom man, he helps in many areas of the network.
As a multipurpose journalist, he often works alone. He is responsible for filming, writing, editing and then reporting the daily news to the nightly news. His role also involves the continuing education of other journalists at 3News. Brandon is passionate about his work and loves everything that comes with it.
Born and raised in Maple Heights, Cleveland, he attended and graduated from Cleveland State University with a BA in Communications with a focus on digital media. In 2017 he graduated from Kent State University with a master’s degree in public relations.
