Brendan Allen is an American professional mixed martial artist who currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s middleweight division. He is also the winner of the middleweight fight against André Muniz on February 25, 2023. Previously, Allen participated in the Legacy Fighting Alliance championship, where he distinguished himself as the winner of the middleweight champion. Prior to that, he was also among the UFC’s 13 middleweight fighters.

He completed high school in Mississippi, where he participated in various boxing and wrestling training. After high school, she enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University, where she studied criminal justice. He later joined Clementi’s Gladiator Academy to train in mixed martial arts. While there, he won the 2015 IMMAF Amateur Middleweight Championship. After his training, he began his career where he fought for various promotions before competing in the Legacy Fighting Alliance Middleweight Championship.

In 2019, he fought Aaron Jeffery and won the fight in the first round. For his work, he got a contract with the UFC. In the same year, he fought Kevin Holland and won by submission in the second round. Prior to that, Allen was backed to fight Eric Spicely, but for unknown reasons, he didn’t. He later won the fight against Tom Breese at UFC Fight Night: Benavidez vs. Figueiredo. Furthermore, he also fought against Kyle Daukaus after replacing Ian Heinisch in June 2020.

Brandan next faced Sean Strickland at UFC Fight Night: Felder x dos Anjos and was defeated by him. After the loss, he fought Karl Roberson and won the fight via ankle lock at the end of the first round. In 2021, he replaced Anthony Hernandez and faced Punahele Soriano at UFC on ESPN: Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw. He emerged as the match winner before losing to Chris Curtis. The following year, Allen faced Jacob Malkoun and won the fight at UFC 275. In addition, Allen also won the fight against Krzysztof Jotko, where he earned a night bonus. As of now, he is set to face Bruno Silva on June 24, 2023, at UFC on ABC 5.
