Brian Wilson is an American journalist who currently serves as a presenter for the Nashville Morning News. on SuperTalk 99.7 WTN, a radio station in Nashville. Prior to that, he worked as an anchor and reporter for Fox News. He was also president of the Capitol Hill Radio/TV Correspondents’ Association.
Born in Odessa, Texas, he attended American University, where he earned his master’s degree in print journalism. Wilson served as an adjunct professor at the American University School of Communication. He began his career as a reporter at KFDA, a CBS affiliate in Amarillo, Texas.
He later worked at WTTG in Washington where he hosted a Washington DC-based weekend show on Fox News. From 2003 to 2006, Wilson was the network’s Congressional Correspondent. He was then promoted to Fox News Washington bureau chief in January 2007.
After an incident on Fox News, Wilson resigned from the network in mid-September 2010. In 2011, he joined 630 WMAL Washington. However, he left the network in 2018 after working at the network as a presenter. In February 2018, he was hired as the new host of Cumulus Media’s Nashville Morning News show on News Talk 99.7 WWTN-FM.
