Kevin Federline is giving his understanding about his ex’s father. In a meeting with ITV News, Britney Spears’ ex says he confides to Jamie Spears that he “saved” the pop star by being her conservative.
Britney’s conservatorship ended in November after 13 years, a month after Jamie was suspended from his tenure as a Conservative.
“Jamie came up to me and said, ‘I have no idea what to do. I want to help my daughter,'” Federline told ITV News about when Britney’s guardianship began. “I saw a man who disapproved. 100 percent Jamie saved her back then. I feel like because Jamie came in as a Conservative, no one else had the option to make that happen, I feel like Jamie Spears really helped in that specific circumstance all along.”
Kevin, who shares Jayden James, 15, and Sean Preston, 16, with the artist, revealed that while he has doubts as to whether Jamie “exceeded” his circumstance, “he first and foremost set everything up once again.”
“I wasn’t locked into any of that, so I have no idea how the guardianship happened, who made the decision,” says Kevin. “Towards the end of the day you clearly have a family that is worried about their daughter, and they are doing everything they can to help her. I stayed so far for the sake of the young. I expected to worry about them. I couldn’t participate in the other things.”
Throughout Britney’s tutelage, Kevin says her kids “had a lot of requests” about the situation.
“I [can’t] answer them all,” Kevin relents. “I struggle to understand that his mother needed support and people were at stake to move him forward and develop him further… I just struggle to tell them that things are in place for her and for their benefit. and to manage an angry situation. ”
Kevin, who was married to Britney from 2004 to 2007, adds that he has no malignity towards his ex-father-in-law, regardless of how their children were separated from their grandfather when “boundaries were abused” by Jamie.
“I would totally welcome him back. Young people especially demanded to accept this. I don’t have a care in the world for Jamie,” he says. “People make mistakes. I feel horrible for him. He was crushed. I am not aware of what has happened and I have deliberately kept myself away. Until I see that this is really shown, I won’t let my kids away from him. I can hardly stand it until the restrictive request ends, considering what I’m going to call it. I understand that he is shocked by what happened, and the youths acquitted him.
About his relationship with Britney, Kevin says he and his ex “have not spoken in a very, very long time.”
“It’s been years,” he says. “We used to talk when the young people were more energetic. There was this representation of time… [where] everything was reasonable. As soon as Jamie walked in, everything calmed down and we went to the games alongside the young people.”
Kevin’s latest meeting came shortly after he informed DailyMail that his children “closed that they can’t see” their mother now.
Britney responded to this meeting on her Instagram Story, creating that “it bothers me to hear that my ex has decided to discuss the association between me and my youth.”
“I am simply human and I invested courageous energy,” he added. “…I really should share my TWO CENTS!!!!”
Britney’s soulmate Sam Asghari also kept an eye on Kevin’s meeting in a post on her Instagram Story.
“There’s no authenticity in your claim about kids self-destructing and it’s insolent to offer this articulation unreservedly,” Sam said. “Young people are very splendid and will be 18 soon enough to make their own decisions and can finally understand that the ‘extraordinary’ part was having a father who hasn’t worked very hard in over 15 years as a genuine role model.”
“[Kevin’s] character is discovered by the horrendous long haul support [conservatorship] and his relentlessness with Jaimie shows his underwriting at the time of its inception in the same way,” he added. “Things that are seen as commonplace matters and easily supervised direct treatment or surrogate forms have been enhanced to legitimize an extended prison sentence. Anyone who supports him is misguided or benefits from it in any way.”
