Brynn Cummings is an American ventriloquist, magician, and dynamic performer who gained fame for auditioning and competing on the eighteenth season of America’s Got Talent. She has also made quite an impression in the magical community over the past three years, ever since she won the famous 82nd annual Abbots’ Magic competition called the World Capital of Magic. During her first audition, Brynn wowed the judges and audience alike with a special ventriloquist act performing a magical mind-reading performance which she performed impressively. Cummings has now moved on to the next level of competition with four yeses and the public behind her.
Cummings was born in Paw Paw, Michigan. She started doing magic at the age of eight. Brynn also enjoyed watching America’s Got Talent on TV. On May 30, 2023, America’s Got Talent kicked off its first episode of the show’s eighteenth season on NBC. The show featured amazing acts such as the Mzanzi choir who were among the first golden buzzer acts and other amazing talent. During the show’s second week, Cummings appeared with a Pink Sunk Like a Puppet in hand, ready to perform.
Judge Sofia Vergara asked her what inspired her to join AGT as a competitor. She revealed that Darci Lynne, the AGT Season 12 winner, was the one who inspired her to participate in this year’s AGT Season 18 competition. Brynn’s incredible response sparked a backlash from judge Simon Cowell, who confirmed that Darci Lynn’s Golden Buzzer was the best Golden Buzzer in America’s Got Talent history.
