Elizabeth Jean “Busy” Philipps is a famous American actress from Oak Park, Illinois, known for her appearances in the TV classics Freaks and Geeks. She is also popular for her role in films such as Dawson’s Creek, Cougar Town, ER, and most recently, HBO’s Vice Principals. Philipps is also the winner of the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series Cougar Town. She currently stars in the original series Peacock Girls5eva.
Phillips attended a local high school in his hometown and became interested in acting when he was in fourth grade. From then on she started starring in school productions. Busy also attends theater camp during the summer term. After graduating from high school, she enrolled at Loyola Marymount University. While in college, Busy landed her first TV show role alongside Linda Cardellini and Colin Hanks in the comedy-drama Freaks and Geeks.
