Carmen Blackwell is an award-winning, Emmy-nominated American journalist known for her storytelling on a local and national level. Currently, she works as a full-time anchor and reporter at WKYC Studios in Cleveland, Ohio since January 2022. Previously, she worked as a full-time reporter for Fox Television Stations in Phoenix, Arizona for 3 years and 1 month.
Carmen went to Destrehan High School in Destrehan, Louisiana. She later attended the University of Louisiana Monroe, majoring in Broadcast Journalism. Furthermore, she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority Sigma Alpha Pi. Blackwell was also a Fellow of the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters Scholarship and a member of the Phi Tau Gamma.
