Caroline Cummings is an Emmy Award-winning American reporter who currently works at WCCO News. She covers politics, public policy and government. Before coming to the Twin Cities, she worked in Des Moines, Iowa, as a state reporter reporting on government and politics for five local TV stations across the city.
In addition, Cummings covered three sessions of the Iowa Legislature, spending a lot of time covering state policy as it was presented, debated, and enacted in the state capital.
Additionally, during the 2020 election cycle, Caroline crossed the state to follow presidential candidates ahead of the Iowa Caucuses and had multiple one-on-one interviews with candidates Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, Bernie Sanders, and more.
