Charlotte Huffman is an American investigative reporter who currently works for ABC News 8, WFAA-TV in Dallas, Texas. Her articles can be seen on the WFAA’s 10 pm news.
Huffman was born and raised in Oklahoma City, and majored in journalism and Spanish at Southern Methodist University. She began her work as a reporter at KFDX in Wichita Falls, Texas shortly after graduation in 2007. Charlotte worked at KFDX for a year before moving to KETK to work as a reporter. She covered stories like uncovering an illicit gambling operation in a series of secret reports while there. Charlotte also worked for KYW/CBS Philadelphia as an investigative reporter from 2013 to 2015.
Huffman also prides herself on being a thorough investigator who leaves no stone unturned. Huffman’s investigation revealed that the water had unsafe levels of cancer-causing chemicals and that state environmental regulators had been aware of the problem for years but never bothered to pick up the phone and warn anyone.
