Charly Edsitty is an American multimedia journalist who currently works at ABC 13 as the station’s multimedia journalist. Prior to joining her current station, Edisitty worked at KPNX-TV in Arizona, where she began working behind the scenes.
She is a proud graduate of baylor university, where he majored in print journalism. and she was a White House intern. Most notably, her career at KPNX-TV in Phoenix, where she worked behind the scenes and quickly landed an on-air position.
She covered a wide range of stories, from wildfires to snowstorms and serial shootings. In addition, she photographs, writes and edits all of her stories and enjoys working both in front of and behind the camera.
During his time working at the station’s northern Arizona office in Flagstaff, Edsirry was in the midst of some of the biggest snowstorms and wildfires in the state. Additionally, she provided key coverage of the deadly shooting on the Northern Arizona University campus and the murder of American humanitarian Kayla Mueller by ISIS.
While in Phoenix, she rummaged through documents surrounding the deadly “serial street shooter” and broke several key developments in an ongoing sexual assault investigation involving a major high school football team.
