Chiké Okonkwo is a British actor who gained fame for playing the role of PC Clark in the famous TV series called New Tricks. He is also widely recognized for playing the role of Ty Coleman in the 2021 ABC series called La Brea and Lee Truit in another series called Being Mary Jane. Her other famous roles are in movies and TV series like Genesis (2015), Burning Sands (2017), Crash (2007), Dovtores (2008) and Class (2015).
Okonkwo is a British citizen born and raised in the small town of Kingston Upon Thames in London, United Kingdom. His parents are native Nigerians who migrated to the United States a few years before Chike was born. Okonkwo finished high school at Southborough High School. He then graduated with a Bachelor of Business Computing degree from the University of Surrey class in 2003.
Chiké decided to pursue acting full-time after graduating from college. He first appeared as one of ten actors who were selected to perform in the BBC Talent Program in 2001. He managed to make his acting debut in the BBC series Holby City. From there, Chike honed his acting skills at the National Youth Theater where he also acted in several plays.
