Christina Trevanion is a British auctioneer, appraiser and television personality. She is the president and owner of Trevanion & Dean, an art and antiques auction house in Shropshire. Popularly, she is known for presenting Bargain Hunt on BBC.
Working in the industry for over 15 years, she has gained experience as a specialist appraiser for jewelry, silver and watches. She is also known to be an Antiques Road Trip expert, Put your money where your mouth is and Flog it!
Christina attended Southampton Solent University, where she graduated as a Fine Arts Assessment student. She has always had a passion for auctions since she was young. She had a family friend who held auctions and asked her parents to allow her to participate. Furthermore, she participated in many auctions along with searching bags and boxes for treasures.
In 2018, Trevanion was awarded a colleague’s note which is only awarded to the most qualified and experienced auctioneers in the country. Furthermore, she is a member of the National Association of Appraisers and Auctioneers.
