Ciara Speller is an American journalist who currently works as a multimedia journalist at 22News since joining the station in July 2017. Prior to her work at WWLP, she received a Master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in Boston, where she received the Graduate Student Award in Journalism.
She also attended Slave Regina University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications and a minor in Dance. During her time at the university, she interned at several stations in New England, including WHDH 7 News in Boston and ABC 6 in Providence.
A native of New Hampshire, she has been actively involved in New Hampshire politics, covering rallies during the last presidential campaign. Additionally, she had the opportunity to report from the 2017 presidential inauguration in Washington for WEBN-TV in Boston.
He also had the opportunity to do some entertainment reporting and had the privilege of covering the 89th Academy Awards, where he interviewed the head makeup artist for the film “Suicide Squad” and the director of the documentary “The White Helmets”, Orlando von Einsiedel.
She is also an active member of the Massachusetts community. She currently serves on the board of the nonprofit I Found Light Against All Odds, which provides resources for at-risk youth and their families. A lover of the arts, she enjoys experiencing the dance and theater offerings throughout the area.
